I am probably not that different from you.  For years I struggled with a career that left me unsatisfied, unhappy and unfulfilled. I used a million excuses about it being too far into my career to find a job that I loved.  I too struggled with doubt and fell into the destination addiction trap—-surely the next job will make me happy. But as it turns out, the next job was always the same job, different employer.

My career path was completely unintentional. In fact, the only reason I ended up in Human Resources was because I speak Spanish. My degree was in Poultry Science, so I got a job with a poultry company. When they found out I spoke Spanish, they put me in their Human Resources training program. It took 15 years for me to realize that I’d never explored what I did and didn’t like about Human Resources. By becoming more intentional with my career search I found work more in alignment with myself. As a result, I found more satisfaction, happiness and fulfillment.

I have over 20 years of experience working in Human Resources and Coaching. I am a true Generalist, having worked across multiple areas of HR and delivering customized solutions for the business. As a consultant, I find creative ways to get the most out of a business’ people and culture processes. I love helping people find joy and meaning in their work so they realize their full potential. My clients are consistently surprised by how much partnering with the right person can help accelerate and maximize their results.
